Congratulations to Katie Holmes on her contract.. I mean, marriage to Tom Cruise. Wow, look at her. She looks so happy doesn't she? Practically glowing and beaming with joy and... oh who am I kidding? That picture looks straight out of Medieval textbooks under "women trapped in castle tower." Heck, I bet Katie would even prefer getting rescued by Shrek than to have to go through with this "wedding."

Whatever, if Katie is truly happy like she says she is, then hey, good for her. But if she's as sad as she looks in that photo, then I say good luck. You'll need it.

I didn't want to watch The OC this year. After all, it really hasn't been that good since well, season one. And the whole Marissa death thing was just way too overdramatic for me last year. What happened to the good ol' days of Chrismakuh and innocent lesbian experimentation? Well they're back. Not the lesbian thing (thank god), but the sharply-written, punchy (not to get too Ryan Atwood on you) episodes are back this season. And even though I swore off The OC (like I've sworn off Smallville), I somehow ended up watching the first few episodes this year... and loved them.

The thanksgiving ep in particular made me laugh out loud, gasp and then tear up at the end right as the sappy soundtrack music came on. If you haven't watched anything from season four, at least watch the thanksgiving episode. And it's only gonna get better. By the looks of things, Taylor and Ryan may be having a little romance. SO unexpected. So potentially awkward. And so can't wait to watch it develop!

This sounds like a commercial for The OC and I guess it sort of is. Watch it. It's good again. They got rid of some dead weight (all 80 pounds of Misha Barton), brought back some snappy dialogue and have done away with the overwrought storylines in favor of light-hearted fun. Let's say it all together now: California, here we come!

Karla emailed me last week to remind me that the first season of 90210 comes out on DVD this month. Ahh 90210... the show I used to sneak on Wednesday nights when my parents were at prayer meeting.

To think they were probably praying about the very things that were happening on the show: teenage sex, love triangles, drug overdoses, getting drunk, twirling a gun around in your hand and accidentely shooting yourself... you know, all the good stuff.

Wasn't there a gay guy too? Oh wait, that was Melrose Place. Not-so-coincidentally released on DVD this week too! It's strange to think gay Matt is now straight Tom on Desperate Housewives.

Not sure what the point of this post was. Just wanted to reminisce that's all...

Check out the two stories I just finished writing for my job at the local news station this morning: (Remember this is for TV so read it that way)

Paul McCartney says he doesn't hate his estranged wife...despite the accusations she's been slinging his way. The 64-year-old ex-Beatle says he's saddened that his marriage didn't work out but he's determined to face the situation with dignity. McCartney and his wife Heather Mills separated in May. She's accused him of physically abusing her....an allegation McCartney has denied. The couple reportedly made peace last weekend at a birthday party for their daughter, who turned three.

Doogie Howser comes out of the closet.
Actor Neil Patrick Harris has confirmed that he is gay, telling People Magazine that he is quote, "very content" and "living life to the fullest." The 33-year-old says he felt the need to make the announcement after recent speculation over his sexuality. Harris currently stars in the CBS comedy "how I met your mother," although he's best known for playing teenage doctor Doogie Howser, on the series of the same name.

Diddy ft Christina Aguilera - Tell Me

Okay I like this song and all but only because of the beat and because Christina got rid of that horrible Marilyn Monroe haircut and went back to Christina-circa-"Come on Over" video hair.

BTW - do you love how Diddy gets hot beats and hot guest stars to disguise the fact that he can't rap? Just saying...

Oh! And I know none of you will know wtf I'm talking about, but I'm tres mad because Danity Kane did this song first before Diddy took it from them for use on his own album! Boo!
