Somehow, despite having a draft of my masters project and a newspaper job application package due today, I managed to sit through the entire Oscars broadcast last night.

I'd like to think that it was roommate bonding time (my roommate, Thomas, watched it with me) but considering we said all of one word to each other during the entire 3.5 hours, I don't think there was much bonding going on. (The word btw, was "Whoa" when Three 6 Mafia won for best song).

I don't really have that much to write about the Oscars, so let's get down to some more exciting news!

You know Ford Models? The winner of America's Next Top Model gets a modelling contract with Ford, a very respectable and well-known agency. Well guess who the new face of Ford Models is?

Avril freakin' Lavigne!
