Jesse McCartney has a new hairstyle. Well.. not so much a new hairstyle as a new colour. I don't like it but then again I didn't like it when Lindsay Lohan went brunette either and now I think it looks hot on her so what do I know? ![]() Wednesday, December 21, 2005
Okay, the "Lexmas" episode of Smallville was great, but I cannot wait until this one: ![]() W-what?! Clark proposing to Lana?! (And this episode is also the big episode in which someone dies! Remember Jor-El's fiery speech at the beginning of the season? Someone close to Clark will die!) Please let it be Lionel, please let it be Lionel! ![]() At the top of my January TV playlist? Former O-Town member Ashley Parker Angel's new reality series, "There and Back." I watched the preview HERE and seriously I almost cried. Who knew an ex boy bander could go through so much?! And now his girlfriend (picture above) is pregnant and he can't support her? Quoi? A much watch show if I do say so myself. Monday nights at 10 on MTV. I will SO be there. Thursday, December 15, 2005
From Madame Tussaud's wax museum... ![]() Hilarious. I love it. And I totally agree that Jen is the poor innocent girl in all of this. Angelina, that bitch! Tuesday, December 13, 2005
Cutest performance ever! Contestants from Star Academy France (the French version of American Idol) sing Mariah Carey's hits: Loving the French accents and the monotone guy who sang at the beginning of "Heartbreaker!" Too funny! Friday, December 09, 2005
From The Superficial.com: Mary-Kate Olsen has revealed why she dropped out of NYU and moved back to Los Angeles. "I'm happy that I kind of realized that, OK, I just need to take care of myself right now," she told W. "I need to be able to go to yoga and work out and just read scripts and go on auditions, because that's what makes me happy. You know? Like, papers don't really make me happy." Papers generally don't make anyone happy. What it makes them is educated. I'll admit that having your ass wiped with hundred dollar bills since the age of two does make education somewhat less important. But if it keeps you from saying 'like, you know?' and helps you understand that eating = life, starving = death, then maybe it was worth it. Hmmm, then again maybe not. So after an awesome episode of One Tree Hill and then an even awesomer episode of Everwood, I've become addicted to the wb.com message boards to see what other viewers thought of the show. Here's the lowdown: On One Tree Hill, people seem to think that Deb called KEITH at the end of the episode. They also think that Dan didn't really win the election (remember, it was never confirmed; the TV reporter just said "it looks like Dan Scott will be the new mayor"). Some crazed fan also discovered that Brooke's "Clothes over bros" clothing line is actually for sale online. Oops sorry, that "crazed fan" was Joelle. Hi Joelle! On to Everwood, which delivered an AMAZING episode tonight! Hannah and Bright and then Ephram and Amy? I'll even forgive the fact that both OTH and Everwood had the "I secretly wrote letters to you but hid them away in a box" plotline and say that the last scene with Amy reading the postcards was really sweet. And of course Bright's speech to tell Hannah she was beautiful. I seriously went to look at myself in the mirror to see if perhaps some of his words rubbed off on my self esteem but sadly, I'm still ugly. But I've decided that my girlfriend has to be like Bright... or Summer from the OC. Basically accept the fact that I'm a big nerd and still find a way to make me feel cool. Oh! I have heard people use the "TMI" acronym 4 times this week! I interviewed someone last night and he was like, "I just learned what that meant!" and I was like "Me too!" although I forgot where I heard it used first. I'm pretty confident it wasn't from Everwood although with my dedicated viewing of the WB I can't be sure... I have lots more to say about OC, ANTM, Making the Band 3, etc. but my Smallville just finished downloading and from what I caught in b/w OC tonight it looked good! Saturday, December 03, 2005
Did you know that Britney Spears was in the NYC last week and I totally missed her?! Bee-yotch! Here's a pic of her in the city and I've got to say, she looks a million times better in this photo than she has in any photo over the past two years! Seriously. I mean, she's even like washed her face and put on shoes this time so that's already an improvement. Keep it up Brit Brit! We need you back looking hot and all successful again. Step 1: Clearasil. Step 2: Dump Kevin. Step 3: Make a comeback CD called "The Emancipation of Britney" and when people ask who you're freeing yourself from, you show them step 2. ![]() On the flip side... You'll never believe who this is? I can't believe how far she's fallen from the "Top." ![]() EDIT: Pink is the New Blog totally wrote about the Emancipation of Britney in today's post! But okay, I TOTALLY posted the idea before they did (Yes! PITNB and I have something in common!) Friday, December 02, 2005
Whoa, did you hear about THIS show? Too bad I don't know anyone pretty enough to apply... no offense... As for AMERICA'S Next Top Model, I'm rooting for Nik, but from the previews ("The winner's not who you think" says Jay), I have a nagging feeling it might be Bre. I'm like 6 blocks from Harlem so even though I think she's ugly and has 0 model potential, I'll still be happy for my homegirl cuz I'm down with dat. As my roommate and I sat down to watch The OC last night (well, more like he plopped himself on the couch after I had already been sitting there) I made the comment about how bad the show has gotten and how "it just doesn't feel like a MUST-SEE show anymore y'know?" "Well it's the cheesy Marissa plotlines," he replied. "She's always crying about something or getting into fights with Ryan." Agreed my friend. Agreed. Yet for the next 59 minutes, I couldn't help but fall in love with the episode, even WITH the cheesy Marissa plotline. I mean, despite her obvious disregard for expensive technology (how could she do that to an Apple Powerbook?!), her montage scene backed by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's "Open Invitation" was so well done that it made me actually believe her tears this time. It all makes sense now! She's been so moody and emotional this year because I mean, she's gone through so so much! Why were us viewers not more sensitive to her feelings before we started making fun of her? We just have to be more sensitive. I am SO glad Johnny got hit by that car! He is the worst character since Oliver! I'd even rank DJ the gardener above him and I mean, DJ was a dud. Johnny has got to stop playing this "Marissa and I GET each other" card and either step up and challenge Ryan for his girl or just surf on outta the show! Unfortunately, now that he's in the hospital, Marissa will feel all bad for him and they'll probably end up kissing judging by next week's preview. And then presumably, Ryan will get mad and then punch Johnny's lights out at some fancy Newport charity event, hosted perhaps now, by a reformed Julie Cooper. (How nice were those Kirsten and Julie scenes eh?) I wish Julie would've had a little more time in the trailer park though just cuz it was funny. The sight of her lugging her LV suitcases into the U-Haul and then driving said U-Haul by herself was hilarious! Weirdly enough, that scene didn't make me think about poor Julie's predicament but rather made me think of my ex-roommate who always dreamed of driving around in a U-Haul... hmm... And of course, the absolute best scene of the night? Seth and Summer getting all cudly in their furry eskimo hats! (Sorry I don't mean to be racist but I dunno what they're called. Besides, how can I be racist to The OC? They had a freakin' black guy on the song last night for the first time!) But yes, S&S thankfully did NOT break-up, thanks to a surprisingly sweet Taylor. I sorta was waiting for Taylor to crack her sly smile after she helped Summer but she didn't! I still can't decide whether she's just longing for a friend or if she's up to no good. Regardless, I'm glad S&S didn't let college applications tear them apart. Ryan and Marissa on the other hand... need some couples counselling.. like now. |
