I know those two sentences really don't follow one another but I didn't just wanna come out with the lesbian line all at once y'know? I had to set it up with something...

Guilty pleasure of the month? VH1's "But Can They Sing?" which features "celebrities" attempting to channel their inner American Idol to win some cash for their favorite charity. The answer to the question posed in the title is "No." But as you can see from the picture above, there is more the enjoy that out of tune quasi-celebs ruining your favorite songs. They've also started performing duets!

Last week featured Carmine Gotti from "Growing Up Gotti" and Bai Ling from "uh... I'm not sure..." They.. were... TERRIBLE! But also hilarious. They performed the Grease medley and between his off-key singing and her very noticeable fob accent, it was an absolute wreck. But again, very hilarious. Go to www.hottiegotti.com and dload the performance for yourself. Be warned though: If you're a fan of the Grease songs the performance may cause you to hate the musical forever. And if you're eating while watching, the performance may cause you to throw up.. in laughter.

Okay, I've heard his name for like 5 seasons, but I just realized today that the "world renowed fashion photographer" on America's Next Top Model is called Gilles Bensimon. I thought it was Gilbert Simon or something like that!

Hilarious! Ashlee Simpson was featured on "Family Guy" Sunday night.



I didn't watch FG but I DID catch parts of "American Dad," which follows FG on FOX. I've never really seen an episode of 'Dad before but it was SOOO funny! It was about the family (who work for the U.S. Govt.) moving to Saudi Arabia and actually enjoying it! It was racist and stereotypical.. which means it was great! There were a lot of smart jokes too. And after taking Middle East Politics in my last year at McGill, I actually got the jokes! haha (Az - dload it! You'll like it)

So yeah.. it's midway through the TV year and surprisingly, the two shows I enjoyed watching the most are "American Dad" and "Hot Properties." Who woulda thunk it eh?

Who else thought OC was a rerun last night when they showed the first scene of Trey and Marissa? I was like, "WHAAAT?" Thankfully, it wasn't a rerun but this time it was Marissa having a bad Trey dream instead of Ryan from the season premiere. The thing is, I DON'T CARE about Ryan and Marissa anymore. We get it, Ryan's the jealous type who loves punching people. Marissa cries a lot and begs Ryan to stop punching people. In the end, Ryan still punches people. This is SO not character development. It's like character regression back to season one.

Although here's the thing... doesn't Johnny remind you of another needy-grows-close-to-Marissa character? Yup, he's totally season 3 Oliver! The way he makes Marissa feel bad for him, shares "personal stories" with Marissa, always asks about her bad relationship with Ryan...

Taylor Towsend, on the other hand.... First we hate her cuz she's messin' with Summer then we sorta feel bad for her cuz her mom's mean and she has no friends and now we hate her again because she's hittin' on Seth? I had a headache just from writing that sentence. I yelled at her though in that final scene when she locked Summer out so she could spend time with Seth! That was definitely a "Grrrr" moment y'know? (Karla, don't act like you weren't yelling at her too!)

One Tree Hill was just "aight" for me this week so I'll pass on that. I'm a big Brooke booster so everytime that new girl pissed her off I got kinda pissed off too. She's already had to suffer a broken marriage people! Let her be happy!

Oh yeah, also, I don't get why Peyton is mad at Hayley. Where did that come from?

Everwood. Best episode EVER. Seriously good. It was funny, sad, touching... I loved how Bright is actually in a real relationship now! Too bad Hannah's leaving (the previews for next week look GOOD!), but I mean, she's a guest star so you knew that was gonna happen sooner or later. Scott Wolf is totally gonna have something happen to him too if we use the "he's a guest star" way of thinking...

I also loved how Andy and Ephram have a mature relationship now. Enough of the brooding Ephram and yay for the nice Ephram!

My roommate totally wanted to watch CSI last night when Everwood was on. I mean, he was totally just standing there looking at me and hinting for me to get off the damn couch. But I refused. Because Everwood was so good. So I made him sit there (still looking at me to get me to leave) and watch the entire episode. He didn't say he liked it but I bet secretly he did.

I read that Prison Break's finale won't be shown till the summer. They're pushing new episodes back so that American Idol can come back in January. I'm sorta mad but not like, really mad b/c I haven't had a chance to watch Prison Break since I have class Monday nights. But I thought I'd still post the news.

My roommate was watching - gasp! - football tonight at 10:30pm so I couldn't tune into Laguna Beach. I can't even tell you how mad I was.. I mean, what 23-year-old guy would rather watch football than a high school reality show?! Geez.

Finally, buzz is that Jared Leto is dating Lindsay Lohan. I know you're all like, Jared who? While I used to know him as a) Jordan on "My So Called Life" and b) Cameron Diaz's ex bf before Justin, now I know him as the lead singer of 30 Seconds to Mars. I know this b/c I got a sampler CD of one of their songs and it's actually really good.

Anyway, Jared and Lindsay are totally dating b/c he gave her an autograph on her foot. Then he gave her a necklace of some sort. I hear ruby diamond rings are next on the list. haha ;) (like that az?)

Things that the Desperate Housewives writers seem to have forgotten about:

1. Uh, Gabrielle's pregnant! Why is she still looking ABS-olutely hot in lingerie? Where's her baby belly?
2. Andrew being gay. Why has he not hit on a gardener or swim team guy or something yet?
3. The twins. This year they've only shown one of Lynette's kids - Parker. Where are the twins?
4. Edie. She makes like it in one scene each week, says something funny and then disappears again from the episode.
5. Teri Hatcher. Why are they giving this Golden Globe winner such a bad storyline this year? It's almost as boring as the Black family's basement prisoner thing.. and that's saying a lot!

I haven't watched any TV this week. I don't know what happened to me... it's just so not me! It must be some new york personal injury or something. Like I must've injured the "Must See TV" part of my brain y'know?

Anyway, I found out today that 3 of my friends are going to be in London for Christmas break. I mean holy Jude and Sienna, since when did the UK become so popular? Even more sad (for me at least) is that one of my friends apparently made a whole bunch of money on stocks and is paying for his trip to London (and perhaps for his girlfriend's diamond watches) all by himself! He somehow got rich off precious metals trading. And I'm not even just writing that because of the blog links. He seriously made tons of money and is super rich now - and he's still in college! I hate him.

Speaking of rich people, 50 Cent's new movie is coming out and he insists that Get Rich or Die Tryin is NOT 8 Mile. I hope he's wrong only because 8 Mile made tons of money and turned Eminem into a movie star. If Fitty's new flick doesn't do well, he's gonna have to do some serious Mortgage Refinancing if ya know what I mean...

I love these blog links. It's like a challenge for the writer in me to incorporate them into the posts y'know? And I think I do a damn good job! haha
