I missed the first half hour of The OC tonight because I was waiting in line at the car wash. I know that sounds like a crummy excuse, especially for an ardent OC fan like myself, but you should've seen my car. Winter driving in downtown Montreal does not a purdy car make.

Anyway, having missed the first half of tonight's episode, I'm not quite sure how the whole Sandy and Rebecca thing got on. I AM sure, however, that Kirsten was not amused to find her husband's ex-girlfriend sleeping in his new office! (But I mean, we totally saw that coming right?) My friend Karla [who kindly offered her house for TNT this week (TNT = Thursday Night Tradition)] also correctly predicted a "bonding" moment between Marissa and Alex as soon as the sappy Rachel Yamagata song came on. I was hoping for a little more than a hand-hold, but I am willing to stay patient and appreciate the baby steps. The 2005 OC previews promised us some girl-girl relationship stuff but I'm still waiting... Honestly though, this is so typical of lesbians y'know? They're such a tease!

As for Seth and Summer, it's hard to root for them because I like Zack a lot. He's such an all-around good guy! And he's the perfect person to use that phrase on too eh?

Finally... Ryan Ryan Ryan. Look what you've done... again. I'm glad Caleb gave him that big speech because frankly, I had forgotten about the whole Theresa pregnancy thing. In fact, Saira, Karla and I had a big argument over what exactly happened with her and the baby because it seemed like SO long ago! I thought she lost the baby and Saira thought she kept it. As it turns out, we're both right because - remember?! - Theresa told Ryan she lost it so he could leave but secretly kept it! I wonder if that story's gonna come back... I also wonder where Julie Cooper is because the show's not the same without her! But that's another blog posting altogether...
