Things I noticed from Desperate Housewives last night: 1. Is Gabrielle pregnant or not? How is that she is still not showing? I mean, gawd, Katie (oops I mean "Kate") Holmes announced she was pregnant like a week ago and she's already got a huge bulge! Right now Gabrielle is the hottest, skinniest pregnant woman I have ever seen in my life. 2. If Gabrielle is pregnant, why was she DRINKING in the scene with Bree and Susan? They were holding brandy glasses and it did not look like water in there. 3. Is Andrew gay or not? How did that whole storyline totally drop off the gaydar.. I mean, radar? 3b. And what about that whole issue with Andrew telling the priest that he's going to ruin his mom's life? I can't tell if Andrew is just upset over his father's death and genuinely trying to protect his mom or if it's all part of an act. That being said, George is creepy and gross so I sorta wish he'd been sent away instead of Andrew. 4. Susan's klutziness used to be endearing and funny. Now it's just so predictable and UNfunny. How many people totally saw the ice-cream on shirt thing coming? Please. Give that woman a better character development! 5. I noticed the Black family was not on the show at all last night. Not that I'm complaining... I'm not interested in that storyline at all. Interestingly, I read on a website that the Blacks were left off b/c last night's ep was about "fathers" and how in the end, fathers always care or something like that. But the Black family has a bad father who's locked up so perhaps the producers couldn't find a way to tie them in to the theme of the night? And now for something completely different.... I have two new shows that I've started to watch: Freddie and Hot Properties. The former stars Freddie Prinze Jr. and Brian Austin Green from 90210(!!) and is pretty good. The funniest character though is Freddie's grandma who only speaks in Spanish and has her phrases subtitled hilariously. "Hot Properties," meanwhile is about a group of women in real estate but it's not as boring as it sounds. It stars Nicole Sullivan, who did the Ashlee Simpson impersonations on MadTV and she is really funny! Those are my two plugs for the day. And no, I still haven't watched Ghost Whisperer yet but I'm getting to it I promise...
