How embarrassed was I this afternoon buying the new Ashlee Simpson CD? Very. Very. Embarrassed.

It's called "I Am Me" and as a journalism grad student I should have rejected the disc simply for its gramatically nonsensicle title. Or I should have rejected it because I am a grad student. Anyway, I ended up throwing the new Stevie Wonder CD into my pile just so I could reclaim SOME degree of face. And then I totally looked down at the floor when the woman scanned in my Ashlee CD. Sigh.. the things I go to in supporting non-talented overdyed-blond-haired phony fakes...

The verdict? The CD is sadly not as good as her first one. I don't foresee any car sing-alongs to this disc Joelle and Micah. Sorry.

There are a couple of good tracks though: Boyfriend (the first single), Who Will Catch me When I Fall? (the rumored second single), L.O.V.E., Burning Up and that's about it. Granted, I've only listened to the whole thing once but I don't think it's hard to tell good from bad when you're listening to an Ashlee Simpson CD. It's more than likely to be bad.
