If you would've told me a month ago that my Wednesday nights during the summer would be spent watching ballroom dancing, I would've told you that you were crazy. Now, however, I believe I may be a little bit crazy, because not only have I been addicted to watching reality-hit "Dancing With the Stars," I also now find myself constantly examining the arch of my back, the height of my arms, the angle at which my knee bends and my fluidity of motion everytime I walk. I can almost hear the pretty-but-mean Asian judge telling me to "watch my expression and connect with the audience more." I'm sorry I'm not that old white-haired guy from Seinfeld OKAY?!! Man, he and his partner are good... although why Charlotte insists on pronouncing her name "Charlott-e" I don't quite understand. I told my friend Phil today that I've been watching this new reality show on TV. "Who's in it?" he asked. "The girl from The Bachelorette, a former New Kid on the Block, Evander Holyfield, a soap opera actress, Rachel Hunter and some guy who played a minor character on Seinfeld," I said. "Oh, so you're watching The Surreal Life?" he replied. "No!" I responded in anger. "Washed-up celebrities on a reality show... sounds like The Surreal Life to me..." said Phil. "No!" I said again. "Well... sorta.... It's like The Surreal Life... except they dance!" In other news, my parents are now taking ballroom dancing lessons. I just can't get away from this stuff!
