How good were the MuchMusic Video Awards (MMVA) eh?

Billy Talent, Ciara and Arcade Fire were (as they say) off the hook! Their performances were amazing, espcially Arcade Fire who I had a chance to see for like 10bucks in their hometown of Montreal but turned down because I thought their name was weird. Yeah, I am such a loser. Ciara too, proved once and for all that the rumours about her being a man are totally unfounded because no man can shake their hips and dance like that! (My brother though had this to say: "Uh.. look how big and buff her arms her. I still think she could be a man). And Billy Talent had one of the biggest CDs in Canada this year and I don't know why they're still not hugely popular in the States. I'm thinking of bringing down my Billy Talent and Arcade Fire CDs to New York to a) represent for some Canadian content and b) prove that my musical tastes can be just as hip as my taste in clothes... or something like that...

Three more things:

1. Black Eyed Peas were great as usual - tons of energy and sass. Speaking of which, I have an extra ticket to see BEP July 10th in T.O. Who wants to come?

2. Doesn't Brandon Flowers from The Killers remind you of Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenblum) on Smallville? Just his mannerisms and facial features...

and

3. Awww. Rick the Temp had a baby!! He had a photo of his baby on his shirt and then shouted out "Hey Noah, daddy loves you" at the end of the red carpet special! Awww!
