Things I'm sick of after watching TV all day today:

1. Tom Cruise's "hooting" and "hollering" and the fist pump thing he did on his knees like TEN MILLION TIMES today on Oprah. I mean, I love the new couple - they need the requisite short-form celebrity couple nickname like Bennifer and Brangelina - but Tom's gushing displays of affection for Katie got old by like the six minute mark [Although how cute were they when she came out at the end?! Oprah: "Katie, you used to dream you'd marry Tom Cruise." Katie: "Guess the lesson is keep dreaming big!" Tim: "I dream that I'll marry Halle Berry!")

2. People eating worms on Fear Factor. I mean, I don't care if this time the worms are inside a wedding cake (ooooh! NOT.), the whole worms thing has been overdone people! I mean, people in China eat dogs and rats! (Not me, mind you..) I'm thinking it's time to bring that to America!

3. Jessica Simpson's voice. It's like strainy and whiny and creaky and hoarse all at the same time. What it isn't is nice to listen to. I could barely hear the words to "These Boots Are Made for Walking" (her new single) and I cringed when she barely hit those high notes during "With You." Just stand there and look hot Jess. Leave the singing to Nick and guest star Brian McKnight, who sang my favourite song of the moment "Everytime You Go Away." When Brian started the intro I was like "Yes! He's singing that song!" When Jess started the intro to "With You" I was like "No! Not that song again!"

4. Season Finales that are not suspenseful or cliff-hanger-y. I mean, Everwood's finale tonight was good but no one died, there was no gunshot, no one got pregnant and no one left town. Where's the suspense to tie me over until next season?

And the last thing I'm sick of after watching TV all day today is...
5. Hearing my mom yell "Are you STILL watching TV Tim?! Get up from that couch and do something productive!!"

Yes mom...
