I think I'm in love with Paris Hilton.

Now loyal readers of this blog will know that I've never carried a torch for Miss Hilton, always preferring her Simple Life co-star Nicole Richie instead. But now that Paris and Nicole have broken up and Paris has embarked on her "House of Wax" movie press junket, I'm beginning to develop a thing for the socialite turned tv-star turned movie "star." I dunno what it is... her totally unironic love of self or her totally unironic use of the words "hot" and "sexy." I mean, some stars say it as a joke or to be sarcastic, but when Paris says that her album will be "hot" and that she liked her role because it was "sexy," she actually means it! She doesn't even care how dumb she sounds or how un-serious it sounds. Did you see the Live @ Much featuring the "House of Wax" stars? Sooo awesome [I feel so bad for Elisha Cuthbert cuz even though she's hot, she's totally the "ugly duckling" in this movie cuz she's next to Paris, but whatever]. Also, just wanna note that Jared Padalecki is so cool for liking Our Lady Peace and for being so nice to the fans (unlike Chad Michael Murray... boo! He's so full of himself! And he makes fun of his assistant and Jared! boo!) Ultimately though, it's really all about Paris isn't it? (She wants to name her son London! I want to name my son London!) Alright I better quit before I sound like a teenage girl... too late eh?

I'm really upset that I didn't go down to Much for the show and I'm upset that without MTV here at home, I'll miss the finale of the House of Wax reality show.
But I DO plan on starting my new love for Paris Hilton this Friday by watching her movie.... and I might not be referring to House of Wax... ;)
