America's Next Top Idol: Chaotic!

To absolutely no one's surprise, Vonzelle was kicked off American Idol last night, Naima won America's Next Top Model and the Britney and Kevin reality show was incredibly annoying and almost unbearable to watch. However, watch I did! A slight recap:

8pm
America's Next Top Model
- I've only caught a few episodes of this season seeing as how I don't have UPN and I can never find ANTM eps for downloading, so the first hour "recap show" was great for me. There were many great moments this season but I mean, c'mon, nothing can top the "Tyra-de" of Miss Banks! Even though I've seen the moment many times, I'm still shocked thinking of how Tyra totally out-screamed Tiffany! Why were all the Black girls this year so bitchy?! And none of them were pretty either so they had no right to get all cocky! Wait... Naima's not included in my "why were all the Black girls so bitchy" question. After all, she's (say it with me here) "half Black, half Mexican and my mother's Irish-Black." We get it. You're sooo exotic. She sorta reminds me of Sarah Taylor from MuchMusic mixed with Colleen from Survivor 1... except with cooler hair. And Kahleen I liked too, although not until the final few episodes. She didn't really catch my attention at first, but at the end she looked really pretty. It's true that all her photos came out well. But Naima has more presence.... at least that's what all the judges said... what do I know?! They're both hot to me!

American Idol
- So sad! Vonzelle is out! How sweet was it when Vonzelle walked over to the judges during her final song to kiss them and say thanks? I admit, I shed a tear or two... It's even sadder to think that Vonzelle is probably expecting some sort of record contract or instant fame, when in reality the third place finisher never gets signed (except Kimberley Locke) and they end up reduced to airtime on "Family Feud: American Idols Edition," ironically enough... with Kimberley Locke.

9:30pm
ANTM
- Wow. That final runway show was fierce! I felt the Zoolander competitiveness going on! I mean, they way they were stomping and walking and making those "attitude" poses?! Wow. One thing about Tyra though - she kept telling Keenya to lose weight or whatever but Tyra's put on some pounds herself dontcha think? Just saying...

Britney and Kevin: Chaotic
- My co-worker compares Brit and Kev to a bad car wreck. You know it's sad and disgusting and watching it might make you throw up but you can't help but look! I get that Britney is trying to show her "truth" (Oh I can handle it Britney!) but if her "truth" is interspersed with giggles and lame face contortions every other minute I don't like it. Britney! Stop being yourself and go back to being the slutty, sexy, does-what-her-managers-tell-her-to-do person we love!

10:30pm
Brit and Kev
- What? It's an hour-long show? I don't know how much more of this I can take. Oh who am I kidding? I love this stuff. The first half hour was great - all about Britney, hanging out with her crew, etc. But then Kevin enters... and you can't help but think that he's some guy she picked up at some bar and is now mooching offa her for a free trip to Europe. Because that's EXACTLY HOW IT HAPPENED!! And all this talk about sex? Creeping me out. We do NOT need to know that Britney did it three times in a day. Eww. Especially if she did it three times with THAT guy. I can't wait till next week's ep where Britney's bodyguard beats Kevin up! Great TV people, great TV.
