Okay OC writers, we get it. Every week you try to introduce a new catchphrase or clever saying either through the episode title, the constant mention of it by the characters or through the episode title AND the constant mention of it by the characters. But really, stop pushing it. I mean, you just about killed off the whole "Christmakah" thing already. And now this week, in the first five minutes of the episode alone, we heard "this is a new era" no less than ten thousand times. Can we PLEASE use another line? And while we're on the subject, can Seth PLEASE stop talking about Summer?! I mean, I felt SOOO sorry for Lindsay (not Lohan). I could feel her pain with Seth's incessant yapping and blabbering about someone who was literally, SO Summer. It's winter 04 baby, time to move on!

Other thoughts:
- Marissa has absolutely NO chemisty with DJ! Did you see their "embracing" scene at the end on the beach? She looked so stiff and uptight in his arms as if she were being held at like gunpoint or something! Geez...
- Who thinks Caleb Nichol has a child with that mystery woman? My roommate (who is no longer embarrassed to discuss OC theories with me... my plan is working! muahahaha!) thinks it's still some bad business deal, but I totally think Caleb is giving the woman child support payments and/or hush money!
- I like all the new characters (except Miguel-wannabe DJ. He's so desperate to fit in... get it? never mind, cheesy joke). But Lindsay is the Chloe Sullivan/Lois Lane perky pretty type that I like and Alex (is that her name?) is really really hot. Bad hair puff and all. She just has these striking eyes...
