Okay, so I've just spent two hours NOT in class, but rather sitting in front of my computer catching up on One Tree Hill episodes from the past couple weeks... I know, I know, shut up.

So anyway, Tyler Hilton (who Chrishelme introduced me to like a year ago) is now guest-starring on One Tree Hill! (good foresight Chrishelme!) He's playing Peyton's possible love interest which on One Tree Hill really just means they'll have tons of sex and then either a) get married or b) join Nikki and Jake in the "where are they now?" guest star category.

Watching Tyler on OTH sparked my interest in him again so I did some surfing around to find out more about him. It's weird but if you took a typical boy band singer look and mixed it with a typical soap opera star look and added a hint of California surfer look, you'd get Tyler Hilton.

But in the end, I came to the conclusion that he is EXACTLY LIKE JOHN MAYER. Get this - they're both singer-songwriters who compose pleasant middle of the road pop/rock on their guitars, they've both got that American-boy good looking thing going on, they're both 6 foot 4, they both went to Berklee and most importantly, they both dated Jennifer Love Hewitt! (not jealous, not jealous). Tyler has the same raspy vocal sound that John does too, which is to say, they have great melodic songs but you can't really understand what they're saying.

In other OTH news... I went to a used CD store this past weekend and bought Gavin Degraw's CD. Gavin, of course, sings "I Don't Wanna Be," the theme song to One Tree Hill. In case you were wondering, his CD is really good - it's like poppy but has this alternative twang to it. And in case you were also wondering, he doesn't look like John Mayer.
