Yikes... how embarrassing! So I was watching Ashlee Simpson on SNL last night and after hearing her sing "Pieces of Me" for like the umpteeth time the EXACT SAME WAY, I decided that I was getting a little tired of her.

"I'm getting tired of Ashlee Simpson," I told Micah at church.

"I'm getting tired of Ashlee Simpson," I told Azadeh at home. "I mean, she doesn't do anything different!"

Well... it turns out I was right in more ways than one. Apparently she was LIP SYNCHING last night of SNL, which would explain why her performance was so boring and so well... similar. BUT, even more embarrassing... well... read THIS. And then watch what happened by downloading THIS (I can't believe I fell asleep before seeing this live! But man...)

See.. if she just like walked off the stage when her backing track came on, then fine. But did she HAVE to do that stupid dance bit? And then she blamed her band?! Not cool... At least Britney's lip synch tape matches what she's singing y'know?

I'm so curious to see how Papa Simpson's gonna handle this one... I smell controversy!
