Sunday Night TV viewing (the first night of many)

The Emmy Awards
- Boo! Jennifer Aniston didn't win! I wanted a better look at what she was wearing and more gratuitous shots of Brad Pitt! (And somehow, Sarah Jessica Parker's sincerity only makes her come across more insincere...)
- Boo! Matt LeBlanc didn't win! And neither did John Ritter! I mean, the man DIED for heaven's sake. What else do you gotta do to win the damn award?!
- Boo! Friends wasn't even nominated for Best Comedy! But Arrested Development won and that show is genius! Like the man said, "Watch it!"
- Note to Emmy voters: Kudos for nominating Amber Tamblyn from Joan of Arcadia, but The OC should definitely be up for a writing award (at least!) and The WB shows (Everwood anyone?) deserve more recognition!
- West Wing? Sopranos? Angels in America? Zzzzzzzz

Jack & Bobby
The new, heavily hyped show on The WB. I liked it. I feel smart watching it. It's about politics... and stuff. It wasn't AMAZING, but it deserves a little patience from me and at least another viewing. It's one of those slow-cookers if you know what I mean...
