North Shore? More like North BORE! (Wait.. I think I might've used that line before... meh). I thought I'd give "Hawaii's OC" another shot since Shannon Doherty was joining the cast, but other than a few good one-liners ("This sure beats the hell outta Beverly Hills"), she did little to "heat things up" as the promos so deceivingly promised. The OC this is not. What North Shore, is, unfortunately, is a poorly written, lazily acted, tries-so-hard-to-not-be-cliche-that-it-ends-up-cliche, "drama" that leaves you with no attachment to the characters or storyline whatsoever.

EVERWOOD on the other hand... delivers quality episodes each week; episodes that compell you to care about the characters and episodes that challenge you to find a better solution to their problems. And somehow it still manages to retain a subtle sense of humour (Scott Wolf notwithstanding). Everwood - good. (Now I have DEFinitely used that line before!)
