And it's Wednesday night... 8:30 I want to see the Will & Grace bloopers from tonight's episode. I mean, Janet Jackson was on and judging by the number of times she cracked up hosting SNL, you just know she was laughing it up with Sean Hayes on the set. Plus, I think I only laughed all of twice and so I'm hoping some funny bloopers will redeem this episode from "sucky" to "mildly sucky." 9:05 Eww. The two guys on The Bachelor are so old! The girls are so young! Something is SO not right... *click* 9:30 Ooh, I should totally watch the new show, "Lost." It stars Charlie from Party of Five and don't even act like you don't remember who that is. But I should try to get some reading in before Smallville starts in half an hour... ooh, For Better or For Worse is on TLC! Score! 10:00pm on the dot. Okay, am I watching Smallville or Days of Our Lives tonight? Because judging by the number of shirtless bodies and revealing positions, I swear I'm watching some sex-ed up soap opera instead of a sci-fi hit. That being said, L-L-Lana! Have I ever missed you! It must've been hard for the actress playing Lois because she had so many expectations placed upon her by fans, writers, Superman junkies, etc. But considering she had to learn tons of lines and was a central character in tonight's episode, I thought she did a great job. Granted, she's no Teri Hatcher (who was totally my older-woman crush during the Lois and Clark days), but still, a good first effort from the newest reincarnation of Lois Lane (I must also note here that the writers brought in Margot Kidder, also a former Ms Lois Lane, to play Dr. Swann's assistant on tonight's ep - clever, clever!) Now is it just me or are you getting tired of the whole Lex vs. Lionel bit? Blah blah blah, I'll get you for this, blah blah blah, no you won't. Bo-ring! And doesn't Lionel Luther have some life-threatening liver disease? Why isn't he dead yet? So listen, I think I missed a lot of the crucial parts of tonight's episode or I was momentarily distracted and misunderstood what happened (damn GQ magazine with Lindsay Lohan on the cover!) So what was the whole deal about the "signs?" And what the heck is going on with Lana? Is that painting just like, a more artistic version of red kryptonite? And finally, did anyone notice if Allison Mack (a.k.a. Chloe) was included in tonight's opening credits? That would've been a smart gimmick by the producers to clue us into Chloe's whereabouts y'know? Speaking of opening credits, for a second I thought Pete was white. And then I realized he was just replaced by a new actor, Jensen Ackles. Jensen Ackles, of course, was formerly on Days of Our Lives... wait... what the heck am I watching again? Damn. 11pm "And now, The WB presents 'The Mountain' starring Oliver Hudson..." I didn't like Oliver Hudson as Eddie on Dawson's Creek and, even though he wasn't technically on the show, I hated the character of Oliver on The OC, so yeah, not gonna watch this new show. *click*
