I stayed up for this? Janet Jackson said all of 3 phrases on Letterman tonight:

1) "It was an accident."
2) "Can we please talk about something else?"
3) "(giggle giggle giggle giggle)

Dave got it right at the end when he thanked her for coming on the show to "listen to me talk." Hey, but John Mayer was on. And he sang that annoying "a-whoo hoo" song. And he's really tall! And he was wearing a rainbow hoodie (ahem, Joelle!) But still... only marginally more lively than Janet.
