I take back what I just said about home renovation shows.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition - Amazing. Astounding. Breath-taking. I was in total awe! The show, hosted by Ty from Trading Spaces, makes-over an entire home for a family who has recently gone through some sort of hardship. In this case, the family's little daughter had cancer. They sent the whole family to the Bahamas(!) while back in L.A., in the span of one week, they literally took apart the house (inside and out); walls torn down, new floors, new roof, lawn dug up, etc., etc. And then, when it was all done, it was the... most... amazing... home makeover I have EVER seen! It was like straight out of my Pottery Barn catalogue but better! They are SO lucky their daughter got cancer!

Someone please obtain a life-threatening illness so that I can be on that show! Hmm... my grandma did recently have a brain tumor... where do I sign up?!
