Sometimes a good script is all you need. Good acting goes a long way too. Never mind the pretentious dialogue, the overplayed angst-filled soundtrack or even the introduction of new "hot" actors. A pretty plot by far outweighs a pretty face. (Please take note Smallville writers). There isn't enough I can say about Joan of Arcadia. It's the cooler 7th Heaven. The younger Touched by an Angel. And the best new show this television season. It's impossible to sit through an episode of "Joan" and not feel moved, touched or disturbed. Last night's episode was a perfectly blended storyline that not only connected all the subplots, but connected with the audience as well. If you weren't affected by that last, simple scene, you've got to check-up on those emotions of yours. And if you're still watching Alicia Silverstone's Miss Match instead of Joan of Arcadia, then you really are, just a little bit clueless.
